Lt. (N) Robert Hampton Gray VC Memorial Bursary
Applications for the Robert Hampton Gray, VC Memorial Bursary are now open. Open to current and past naval members and their families. Apply by March 31, 2026.
The Naval Association Canada - Calgary Branch is pleased to remind the naval community of its annual Bursary in memory of Lt. Robert Hampton (Hammy) Gray, VC, for whom the Naval Museum of Alberta is dedicated. The NAC – Calgary Branch invites post-secondary students to apply for the Robert Hampton Gray, VC Memorial Bursary.
This $2,000 bursary is awarded annually to a full-time student enrolled in a recognized post-secondary academic institution. It is open to current members of the Royal Canadian Navy, Sea Cadets, and Navy League officers. Past members of these groups can also apply and may sponsor their sons, daughters, and grandchildren. Specific criteria are listed in the application form.
The award is granted based on the applicant’s demonstrated financial need and the accurate completion of the attached Bursary application form.
Applications must be submitted to education.naccalgary@gmail.com by no later than March 31, 2026.
All applications will be reviewed by a specified review panel from the NAC – Calgary Branch, and the selected recipients will be contacted.
