The Naval Association of Canada (NAC)

The Naval Association of Canada (NAC) is a national organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Canada's naval heritage. Founded in 1919 as the Naval Officers Association of British Columbia by World War I naval veterans, NAC has grown to include branches across the country.

NAC's mission is threefold: Public Education, Maritime Heritage, and Camaraderie.

We aim to educate Canadians about the importance of a strong navy for national security and economic well-being. NAC also works with maritime museums and trusts to preserve and highlight Canada's maritime history. Additionally, the organization fosters camaraderie among its members, providing support to naval families and promoting social interaction.

NAC supports Sea Cadet Corps and Naval Reserve Units, ensuring that the legacy of Canada's naval forces continues to thrive. Through events, publications, and community outreach, NAC remains committed to its mission of honoring and sustaining Canada's naval traditions.
